A fresh breeze
Sailing together is like a fresh breeze blowing through your team. New ideas find their way out and old obstacles can be overcome. A sailing trip is a teambuilding exercise in itself.

Experienced crew
Sailing as a teambuilding experience means figuring out how things work, setting sail, executing maneuvers and taking care of the ship together. The group is split up into smaller units which are each given a specific task on board. The crew will guide the groups during the training and will evaluate developments with the whole team at the end. Our highly experienced crew are trained in coaching and team building.

Professional training
Specialist training can also be provided by outside freelance professionals with sailing experience, supported by our crew. For more intensive training with professional coaches we invite you to contact us to discuss your requirements.

Technical facilities
We have Internet access, flip charts, whiteboard, viewscreen and a 37 “LED TV with DVD/BluRay player.

Our philosophy
Team success can be modeled and created on board. When sailing, the correlation between cause and effect becomes instantly clear. Sailing manoevres serve as a mirror to communication and behavioral patterns within the team. This is why sailing provides excellent training situations for new forms of collaboration. All operations on board are metaphors, such as the course being taken, etc. A ship is a closed system.

Longer sessions
A comfortable overnight stay is also possible on the Catharina van Mijdrecht. Multi-day training sessions offer even more possibilities, and we don’t necessarily have to return to port at the end of the day; the ship is completely self-sufficient.

Well organized
Good organization is paramount when it comes to team-building sailing. Your trip will be taken care of down to the last detail. And after all the action, of course there will be time for a relaxed chat and a drink from the bar.
