SAIL Amsterdam 2020
The tenth edition of Sail Amsterdam will take place on August 12-16 this year. With 600 ships partaking and thousands of visitors, this is the largest nautical event in the Netherlands. For five days, the port of Amsterdam will be host to an impressive fleet of tall ships, traditional sailing ships, heritage vessels, navy ships and replicas. There is a lively programme full of cultural, musical and -of course- nautical activities, and each day ends with a breathtaking fireworks display.
The Catharina van Mijdrecht takes part!
Experience SAIL Amsterdam 2020 in the best way possible: from the water. Two times a day, the Catharina will make a fascinating trip across the IJ. There will be lots of spectacle, a unique atmosphere, and thousands of boats on the water, as we take you past some of the most famous traditional sailing ships in the world.
We have secured an excellent boarding point near the IJ, with sufficient free parking nearby.
The inner passenger
During SAIL Amsterdam 2020 we will be pulling out all the stops with various all-inclusive arrangements.Enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner buffet, surprising “nautical” snacks and a well-stocked bar. The comfort aboard, the special atmosphere and the excellent service will take care of the rest.
