Who we are
“De Rode Vos” is the company name of the sailing ship the “Catharina van Mijdrecht”, both are owned by Jos Rodewijk, located at Wagenweg 9, 1145PW Katwoude.
De Rode Vos offers sailing trips for individuals, companies and institutions.

PERSONAL DATA THAT WILL BE PROCESSED
De Rode Vos may process your personal data because you (have) use(d) the services of De Rode Vos and/or because you have provided them when filling in a contact/quotation form on the website.
De Rode Vos may process the following personal data:
– First name and surname
– Company name
– Address details
– telephone number
– Email address / IP address

Why De Rode Vos needs your data

1. send a quote
   De Rode Vos uses your data in order to contact you (by telephone and/or e-mail) if you ask for it. Your data will not be stored for more than one year if no agreement is concluded. Your data will not be shared with third parties, unless you request so yourself.
2. Conclude agreement
   De Rode Vos uses your data in the context of executing an agreementfor a sailing trip as concluded with you. The agreement will be kept for a maximum of 10 years for possible inspection by the tax authorities. De Rode Vos only provides personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement, or to comply with a legal obligation.
3. Passenger list
   De Rode Vos requests the personal data of all passengers to comply with a legal obligation to disclose said data in the event of an emergency. The passenger list will be destroyed after the sailing trip. De Rode Vos only provides this passenger list to emergency responders and/or authorities and only in the event of an emergency.
4. Diet
   The Red Fox processes dietary data to meet the personal preferences of the passengers. This data is anonymous and is not stored.
5. Age
   De Rode Vos processes age data in order to be able to make an appropriate offer for children and/or in connection with the necessary children’s life jackets. This data is anonymous and is not stored.
6. Newsletters
   De Rode Vos uses your email address to keep you informed of our activities. Your email address will be stored indefinitely; you can unsubscribe at any time if you no longer wish to receive our newsletters. Your email address will not be shared with third parties.

Data storage
Your email correspondence and/or agreement with De Rode Vos is stored on one computer, which is protected with a username and password. A backup is stored with a Dropbox account, which is also protected with a username and password. A paper printout of the agreement will be sent to our accountant.

Website visit
Your visit to our website is protected by an SSL certificate. This means that your connection to the De Rode Vos website is private. You can recognize this security by the (green) lock in before the URL.

Website visit inventory
On the De Rode Vos website general visitor information is tracked, including the IP address of your computer and the time of the query, as well as information that your browser sends with it. This data is used in order to analyse visitor patterns and click paths within the website. De Rode Vos uses this information to improve the operation of the website. This data is processed anonymously as much as possible, and is not provided to third parties.

Google Analytics
De Rode Vos uses Google Analytics to track how users use the website and how effective the Adwords ads of De Rode Vos are on Google search result pages. Google uses this information to keep track of how our website is used, to provide reports about the website to us and to provide its advertisers with information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. De Rode Vos has not given Google permission to use Analytics information obtained through De Rode Vos for other Google services.

Viewing, modifying or deleting data
If you do not feel comfortable with the use of your data by De Rode Vos, please feel free to contact us. You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data.  You can send a request for access, correction or deletion to info@catharinavanmijdrecht.nl. De Rode Vos will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
