Our catering packages

In our quotations we speak of basic, extensive and luxury catering.
You can opt for a basic package if your budget is limited. However, a few euros more will give you our extensive range. Choose luxury catering if you really want to spoil your guests. We also have various “specials”.
Combinations of these options are also possible.

Completely vegetarian or organic meals are also possible.

Basic breakfast €12.50
Various types of bread. Two types of cheese, sliced cold meats and sweet toppings. Coffee, tea and milk.

Extensive breakfast buffet €15.75
Various types of bread (brown, white and currant bread, rolls, etc.). Three types of cheese, sliced cold meats and sweet toppings, boiled egg. Yoghurt with crunchy muesli. Coffee, tea, milk and orange juice.

Luxury breakfast buffet €21.50
Various luxury breads and rolls. A selection of domestic and foreign cheeses. Platter with various luxury meats and pâtés. Fried egg or scrambled eggs with bacon. Yoghurt with crunchy muesli and fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice.

A completely vegetarian breakfast is also possible.

Sailors' lunch

Basic lunch buffet €15.00

Extensive lunch buffet €18.50
Various types of bread and rolls, freshly made tomato and vegetable soup with optional meatballs. Three types of cheese, sliced cold meats and sweet toppings. Freshly smoked mackerel from Monnickendam. Fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice.

Luxury lunch buffet €25.50
Various luxury breads and rolls. Freshly made seasonal soup and vegetarian courgette soup with lemon. Dishes with various luxury meats and pâtés. Luxury fish platter. A selection of domestic and foreign cheeses. Coffee, tea, milk, fruit juices and fresh fruit.

Salad bar €27.50
Freshly made seasonal soup and vegetarian courgette soup with lemon. Various luxury breads and rolls. Herb/garlic butter, tapenade and hummus. Various salads, crudités and cherry tomatoes, with different dressings. Croutons, nuts, pine nuts, olives, capers and sun-dried tomatoes. Gravad lax and freshly smoked mackerel from Monnickendam. Fried bacon bits and smoked chicken. Feta, gorgonzola and Edam cheese cubes. Coffee, tea, milk, fruit juices and fresh fruit.

Mediterranean lunch buffet €32.50
Various luxury breads and rolls, including baguette and Turkish bread or ciabatta. Mildly spicy red lentil soup. Egg curry, sweet and sour beef salad, couscous salad with fresh mint. Chicken salad with fresh fruit. Tapenade and herb/garlic butter. Olives, dates stuffed with cream cheese. Fresh figs (when in season). Coffee, tea, milk, fruit juices and fresh fruit. Fresh mint tea, black tea and chai.

A completely vegetarian lunch is also possible.

ship's bites

Basic bites €4.75
Nuts, cheese cubes and slices of sausage.

Extensive bites €6.75
Nuts, cheese cubes, salami and mixed olives.

Boards with various cheeses, sausages, olives, savoury biscuits and nuts.

Zuiderzee appetizers €14.50
Boards with Amsterdam-style sweet & sour pickled onions, cheese cubes, (smoked) beef sausage and nuts. Herring on rye bread. Crackers with freshly smoked mackerel from Monnickendam.

Oriental tea table €21.50
Iced tea, chai and fresh mint tea. Turkish delight. Fresh figs (when in season) with goat’s cheese and walnuts. Dates filled with cream cheese. Baklava.

Herring party €19.50
The herring season starts on 18 June 2024! Enjoy unlimited fresh young herring, provided by our local fishmonger’s . Various other luxury snacks for guests who aren’t partial to herring.

High Tea €27.50
Different teas with, among other things, honey, lemon and fresh mint. Scones with various jams, marmalade and clotted cream. Chocolates, muffins and brownies. Various sandwiches including salmon, cream cheese and cured ham. Savoury bites.

Completely vegetarian snack platters are also possible.

Basic meals

Barbecue €23.50
Hamburger, grilled sausage, spareribs, satay stick and falafel. Mixed salad. Potato salad with celery. Peanut-, BBQ- and garlic sauce. Bread with herb/garlic butter.

Flexitarian barbecue €23.50
Like our regular barbecue, but with 50% vegetarian meat substitutes.
Completely vegetarian barbecues are also possible.

Captain’s dinner €23.50
Field peas with bacon, fried onions, minced meat dish, mixed salad, various pickles and sauces.

Warm wraps €23.50
Warm tortillas, to be filled with things like; minced meat, kidney beans, avocado, lettuce, tomato, bell peppers, grilled vegetables, corn, guacamole, cheese, sour cream and others.

Seasonal meals:
Dutch Stamppot (mash & veg) €23.50

Choice of two varieties:
– Raw endive mash with bacon, cheese and a meatball.
-Sauerkraut and mash with (pine)apple and bacon.
-Leyden mash with carrots and rib of beef
-Creamy kale mash with bacon bits, onion and smoked sausage.

Completely vegetarian meals are also possible.

Extensive meals

Barbecue €29.50
Fillet of pork, hamburger, chicken satay stick, spare rib, lamb sausage, salmon/cod parcel, falafel and grilled vegetables. Mixed salad with tomato and feta, potato salad with walnut and celery, seasonal salad. Peanut satay sauce, barbecue sauce, cocktail sauce, garlic sauce. Bread with herb/garlic butter.

Flexitarian barbecue €29.50
Like our regular barbecue, but with more fish, vegetables and vegetarian alternatives from the grill.
Completely vegetarian barbecues are also possible.

Captain’s dinner buffet €29.50
Homemade tomato/vegetable or pumpkin soup. Garden peas, fried bacon bits. Honeyed ham off the bone slices. Minced meat dish. Herring with rye bread. Freshly smoked mackerel from Monnickendam. Crudité salad. Amsterdam sweet and sour onions and other pickles, mustard and sauces. French bread with homemade herb/garlic butter.

Indonesian rice table €29.50
Three meat dishes. two vegetable dishes. Fried rice and fried noodles. Spicy sambal, prawn crackers, fried onions, serundeng (sautéed coconut) and Atjar pickles.

Seasonal meals:
Mussels buffet €29.50 (July to March)
Mussels with Dutch mussel herbs and seasonal vegetables. Provençal mussels with thyme, rosemary, garlic and white wine. Mixed salad. Potato salad with egg, celery and walnut. Mussel, garlic and cocktail sauce. Bread with herb/garlic butter and olive tapenade.

Asparagus buffet €29.50 (May and June)
White and/or green asparagus, freshly prepared  on board. New baby potatoes. Warm ham off the bone. Smoked salmon. Egg Salad. Hollandaise sauce with fresh parsley. Mustard-dill sauce.

Completely vegetarian meals are also possible.

Luxury buffets

Gourmet barbecue €37.50
For the gourmet; smaller pieces of quality meat so you can taste the full range. Chicken wrapped in bacon, marinated steak, pork tenderloin on a stick with sun-dried tomato, chicken satay stick, salmon/cod parcel, grilled Gamba, falafel, various vegetarian alternatives, grilled vegetables. Mixed salad with tomato and feta, potato salad with walnut and celery, seasonal salad. Peanut satay sauce, barbecue sauce, cocktail sauce, garlic sauce. Bread with herb/garlic butter, tzatziki and hummus.

Flexitarian barbecue €37.50
Like the Gourmet, but with more fish, vegetables and luxury vegetarian alternatives from the grill.
Completely vegetarian barbecues are also possible.

Oriental buffet €37.50
A tour of Asia:
Tom Yam (Thai fish soup). Indian dahl. Arabian chickpea salad. Yakitori (Japanese chicken skewers). Kabuli pulau (Afghan pilav rice). Dates stuffed with cream cheese. Grilled vegetables. Couscous salad with fresh mint. Fish curry with coconut. Spicy chicken. Lemon rice. Humus, tzatziki and flatbread. Baklava for dessert.

Mediterranean buffet €37.50
Along the Mediterranean:
Minestrone. Mozzarella with fresh basil. Catalan fish stew. Greek orzo salad. Köfte (Turkish meatballs). Green salad with pine nuts and feta. Olive tapenade. Lebanese hummus. Ciabatta.

Captain’s dinner buffet €37.50
Homemade tomato or pumpkin soup. Garden peas with fried bacon bits. Ham off the bone slices, with honey. Minced meat dish. Herring with rye bread. Freshly smoked mackerel from Monnickendam. Mussels with Dutch mussel herbs and seasonal vegetables. A seasonal salad. Fresh crudités salad. Amsterdam sweet and sour onions and other pickles, mustard and sauces. French bread with homemade herb/garlic butter.

Luxury “Indonesian” rice table €37.50
Three meat dishes. A fish/shrimp dish. Three vegetable dishes. White rice, fried rice noodles and Nasi kuning.  Spicy sambal, prawn crackers, fried onions, serundeng (sautéed coconut) and Atjar pickles. Spekuk (Indonesian layer cake) for dessert.

Completely vegetarian buffets are also possible.

We usually serve coffee and tea with chocolates after the main meal.

Pre-agreed number of drinks vouchers at €3.50 each

Catering: terms and conditions

Above catering prices include 9% VAT, alcoholic drinks include 21% VAT.
We take special diets into account; please inform us of any dietary requirements no later than 7 days before departure.

Catering orders must be submitted to us no later than 14 days before departure. Already placed orders can be changed up to 7 days before departure. Cancellation of an already booked catering package is subject to the cancellation conditions as described in our General Terms and Conditions, of which we will send you a copy free of charge on request. These General Terms and Conditions are also part of the travel agreement or rental contract.

One lunch, buffet or menu can be ordered per group (no combinations), unless otherwise agreed upon.

Drinks can be bought off (see our drinks packages). Drinks consumed outside the agreed time slot will be noted down and billed subsequently. Drinks cannot be paid for individually.

We charge a service fee for catering on board. This includes the costs for the transport of ingredients, the service staff and the subsequent cleaning of the ship. Service fee: €30.00/hour

If catering is delivered to a location other than the port of Monnickendam, additional transport costs may be charged.

If you decide to bring your own caterer, we will charge €400.00 for the use of the galley. The caterer must leave behind a clean and tidy ship.

Payment conditions
For payment terms, we refer to the contract.
