With their many years of experience, they know how to turn every sailing trip into an unforgettable experience.

The Catharina van Mijdrecht was built in 1916, as one of the last sailing inland cargo ships. This beautiful and original Clipper Barge (Klipperaak) from Dedemsvaart began her second career as a passenger ship in the 1980s, after a long period of carrying freight throughout the Netherlands.

On board the Catharina van Mijdrecht, it really is all about the experiences for the guests. For example, you can help sail her, under expert guidance of course, or even take over the helm yourself for a while. Besides that, there is plenty of time for relaxing and getting together with snacks and drinks.

This traditional sailing ship is modern in terms of comfort, clean, spacious, warm, and fully equipped. The interior has an authentic atmosphere, with lots of lacquered wood and nautical details. There are plenty of seating areas, and a spacious deck for sun lovers.

The sailing ship has a daytime capacity of 40 passengers, and has 18 berths in 8 cabins. Is your party bigger? Don’t worry! We also sail in tandem with other ships. After a well-spent day, we can anchor together for a barbecue on board, or for a sporting activity!
